Job Description: Sales Development Representative (Outbound) - UK
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Qualification:
Conduct thorough market research to identify and prioritize target companies within the events industry.
Utilize various prospecting methods (e.g., LinkedIn, industry databases, online event directories) to identify and qualify potential clients.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
Outreach & Engagement:
Develop and execute creative outreach campaigns (e.g., personalized emails, social media engagement) to capture the attention of prospective clients.
Conduct effective cold calls and warm calls to introduce Premagic solutions and engage in insightful conversations about their corporate event planning needs and challenges.
Schedule and prepare for introductory calls and demos with potential customers.
Sales Support:
Gather and qualify customer information and requirements.
Provide timely and accurate information to the sales team to facilitate smooth deal progression.
CRM Management:
Meticulously maintain accurate records of all sales activities, interactions, and customer information within the CRM.
Qualifications:
Must-Haves:
1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role (sales, business development, customer success)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Strong work ethic, results-oriented mindset, and a passion for exceeding targets
Have basic knowledge of CRM
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
Experience in the events tech industry
Understanding of sales methodologies and best practices
Experience with marketing automation tools
Knowledge of common corporate event types and industry trends
